Wells Waitrose cash machine nearly blown up in targeted gas…
A gas attack aimed at blowing open a supermarket ATM cash machine is under investigation by police.

The Avon & Somerset Force believes that people leaving Glastonbury Festival may be useful witnesses to the attack, the second in seven weeks on the wall-mounted machine outside Waitrose supermarket in Whiting Way, Wells.

The incident happened at around 4am today.

The gas ignited inside the machine and Devon and Somerset Fire Service was alerted after smoke was seen coming from the machine….
