The lives of people in a Somerset town could be in danger because of traffic problems which are getting worse every day, according to a town councillor.

Dawn Old wrote to Somerset Live, the police, local district councillors and the county council after speaking to at least five members of the public with concerns about road safety in Wincanton recently.

fled the scene of a fatal car crash on Boxing Day, according to a bush craft and animal tracking expert.

Paul Burkhardt has offered his skills free of charge to those desperately searching for Tipsy, a three year old black Labrador.

Gemma Brixey, Tipsy’s owner, has been searching for her ever since the
