The Transport Secretary is urging train companies to communicate more using social media to stop passengers and people affected becoming frustrated by being kept in the dark.
Mr McLoughlin said: “I have asked the train operating companies to do a lot more as far as the social media network is concerned which they are doing. I think that is one of the very frustrating parts for people is trying to get information.
