A SPOOF art competition has almost succeeded in bringing a smile to the face of Bowlish’s grumpiest pub landlord: Ken Turner.The tongue-in-cheek Ken Turner Prize was launched by one of the patrons of The Horseshoe Inn, near Shepton Mallet, to cheer up its owner and licensee, Ken.Many entries were received and winner Jean Norgrove from Shepton Mallet was winner of the first prize: half a pint of Ken’s cheapest cider.Jean said that she had won prizes for her art before, but nothing this big.One…
