Full body scanners for Bristol Airport as terror threat remains…
Bristol Airport is get special full body security scanners because the terrorist threat level remains “substantial” with an attack “a strong possibility”.

Transport Secretary Patrick McLoughlin said 11 more airports, including Cardiff and Bristol, are to have the scanners on top of the ten which already use them.

But for the first time passengers who opt out of being screened will be allowed a private search alternative.

Tolls on the Severn bridges are to rise to £6.40 in the new year.
Cars and caravans crossing from England to Wales will be charged 20p more than the current charge.
Small goods vehicles and small buses will pay £12.80 – a 40p rise – while heavy goods vehicles and buses will pay £19.20, up 60p.
