Michael Eavis on running out of headliners and retirement
MICHAEL Eavis will be stepping down as Glastonbury Festival organiser in 2020, but says he’s found a way to combat the ‘headliner’ problem.

Mr Eavis, 79, said there were only 20 to 30 bands capable of heading up the bill, and believes that he’s already booked most of them.

Instead, there are plans to put more money in the ‘after hours’ sections of the festival site, like Shangri-La and Arcadia.
