Bristol traffic: Jamaica Street closed after suspected stabbing
Bristol traffic update at 8am:

The B4051 Jamaica Street in St Paul’s is closed between the Thomas Street junction and the Montague Street junction, because of a suspected stabbing.

Milton Road in Weston-super-Mare is closed both ways due to emergency repairs and a large hole in the road between Manor Road and Baytree Road.
A large hole in road at the junction of Milton Park Road has opened up. There is no estimated time for the road to re-open.

Fatal road crash on the A4135 near Newington Barn
A person has died following a crash on the A4135 near Newington Barn and the Calcot Cross roads.
The smash took place on unclassified roads at 5.50am this morning near the junction with the A433 and Tetbury Rugby Club.
The road is currently closed to drivers after the Hunter’s Hall pub and motorists are being diverted via Newington Barn.
The A46 remains unaffected.
A police spokesman confirmed two vehicles were involved in the smash.

The railway line at Dawlish in Devon, badly damaged when the sea wall was breached in the recent storms, is to reopen almost two weeks earlier than planned.
After first saying it hoped the coast-hugging line would be repaired around mid-March, Network Rail (NR) put back the proposed reopening date to mid-April following further damage from the severe storm on St Valentine’s Day.
