A packed passenger plane was evacuated moments before take-off today after the cockpit and cabin filled with smoke.The Aurigny AT72 aircraft was due to depart Guernsey Airport for Manchester when officials suddenly aborted the 7am flight.An Aurigny spokesman said the the captain noticed the smoke and returned the plane to its stand where the passengers were ushered off.
