Long Street in Sherborne to close for roadworks on MONDAY
A major road in the centre of Sherborne will be closed off on Monday (March 6) for roadworks.

Dorset County Council will be closing the B3145 Long Street between the junction with St Swithin’s Road and the junction with Newland in order to clear gullies.

The work is designed, in light of forecasts indicating further heavy rain and wintry weather, to allow surface water to drain away more effectively, thus preventing localised flooding and disruption to motorists.
