Bridgwater shop owners claim they are losing 90 per cent of…
Since the EDF roadworks started in Bridgwater, businesses say they have been struggling. The traffic issues have caused footfall to drop drastically for some businesses in the area.

Countrywide is closing by the end of the month and many others say they have lost up to 90 per cent of business. Councillor Leigh Redman said: “Pick any of the traders they are all suffering”.
The roadworks were proposed by EDF to support delivery to Hinkley Point C and are going to increase the capacity…
