Bin there, done that: We meet the Glastonbury Festival bin…
IT’S a beautiful, sunny day when I get the chance to meet Hank and Ant, who head up the bin-painting team for Glastonbury Festival.

The team’s marquee is easy to spot, surrounded by freshly painted bins, veteran bins that survived last year’s event, and brand new ones, still bearing the labels of the fruit juice they used to contain.

“At the moment, there are 10 people working on these,” says Hank (“Just Hank. That’s how everyone knows me.”)
