Woman hit by friend's car in Plymouth as both hunted stray cat
A woman from Plymouth was hit by by her friend’s car – while they both searched for the same missing cat.

Gemma White, 30, and her friend Stephanie Lake, 33, were trying to find the owners of the stray pet by knocking on doors in their neighbourhood.

But the mischievous moggy suddenly bolted and Stephanie gave chase on foot while Gemma jumped behind the wheel of her car.

Eventually, Ms Lake spotted the mischievous cat and ran out into the road – where she was hit by Ms White’s passing…
