Westminster Street in Yeovil could re-open by close of play today
A Yeovil street closed because of a burst water main could reopen sooner than originally thought.Westminster Street was closed yesterday morning (December 1) as employees of Somerset County Council and Wessex Water got to work on the burst pipe.The council indicated this morning (December 2) that the closure may be in operation until Monday morning (December 5).But Wessex Water has now confirmed that the main repairs have been completed, and that they hope to reopen the road by the end of the…
