A Trowbridge minister, who the Pope described as ‘my brother’, died in a motorcycle accident near Bristol on Sunday, it has emerged.
The biker who died in the crash near Chew Valley Lake was Tony Palmer, from Trowbridge, the co-founder of the Christian Ark Community, who the Pope described as ‘his friend for years’.
Police have confirmed that Mr Palmer was the biker involved in the crash, who died hours after doctors battled to save him following a crash early on Sunday morning.
