Kelston Road, a major route, linking Bristol and Bath will be closed until at least September, it emerged this afternoon.
Bath and North East Somerset Council revealed the road – the A431 – will be closed for at least another six months.
In a statement it said: “Following the closure of the Kelston Road in mid-February, the ground remains unstable and the landslip is still active.
