Templecombe residents call for changes to 'ludicrous' road system…
A “ludicrous” road layout which forces drivers obeying the law into head on near misses needs to be changed in a Somerset village, according to local residents.
Calls for a pedestrian crossing on the A357 through Templecombe were finally listened to in 2015, providing a safe place to cross each day for children walking to school.
But in order to install the crossing Somerset County Council said speed restrictions were necessary – which turned out to mean give way build-outs…
