A coach driver is under investigation after he was pictured using his mobile phone at 60mph on a motorway. An alarmed passenger caught the driver in the act at the wheel of a packed National Express service on the M5. The traveller took a photograph of the driver in his rear-view mirror which shows him with his eyes off the road looking down at the handset in his left hand. ‘I was amazed at what he was doing,’ said the 36-year-old passenger. Bristol's new 20mph zones come into force today
Hundreds more signs warning motorists not to exceed 20mph Bristol come into force today.
New 20mph zones are now in force in Cotham, Hotwells, Bishopston, Clifton, Redland and the city centre.
Around 1,030 signs have been put up between to make drivers aware of the new limit.
The roll-out coincides with five months of major works on the St James Barton roundabout in a bid to make it a gateway to the city.
Motorists are being warned to expect delays until July.
