Drivers could face traffic chaos as work closes lanes on M48…
Drivers could be facing long delays next weekend as essential waterproofing and resurfacing will be taking place on the Second Severn Crossing.

Two lanes will be closed on the westbound carriageway between 10pm on Friday, June 27 and 10am Sunday June 29.

Police are urging visitors intending to celebrate Summer Solstice at Stonehenge, in Wiltshire, to use public transport.

Traffic lights set for Vale of Glamorgan's Sully Island opposite…
An island opposite Weston-super-Mare, which has no roads or residents, is having traffic lights installed to stop people getting cut off by the tide.

Sully Island on the Vale of Glamorgan coast can only be reached by foot at low tide via a rocky causeway.

But over the years hundreds of people have been left stranded on the island when the tide comes in.

So the RNLI is trialling a set of traffic lights to warn visitors when they are likely to be cut off.

The lights are being installed today…
