Glastonbury festival goers can expect purple rain this year if reports suggesting Prince, Metallica and Outkast have already signed up for this year are true.

Kasabian to headline Glastonbury Festival?
Reports that experimental rockers Kasabian could be the Sunday night headliners for this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

It is understood the experimental rock band will close the music event on Sunday, June 29 on the Pyramid Stage.

The group have appeared at the festival before and there is still no official word on whether this headline slot has been confirmed.

Arcade Fire have also been confirmed as headliners and will take to the Pyramid stage on Friday 27 June.

Lower Slaughter Manor awarded new AA rosette awards
A Cotswold restaurant is one of only 11 restaurants outside London to be awarded the highly-coverted AA new rosette awards.

The AA announced the list of restaurants which have been awarded the coveted new 3 and 4 AA Rosettes today. One of the restaurants celebrating new higher Rosette awards are from London with the other 11 ranging from Loch Ness to Jersey. The Cotswold-based Lower Slaughter is the only restaurant in the West Country to be receive one this time.
