There are delays on the M4 because of an accident earlier on.Traffic is queuing on the M4 eastbound between junction 18, A46 (Bath) in Tormarton and junction 17, A350 (Chippenham) in Wiltshire.People are also slowing on the M4 westbound to look at the accident.

Traffic is heavy on the M5 southbound between junctions 14 and 19, and 21 and 23.There are also queues of on the M5 northbound at J26, A38 (Wellington), because of an earlier accident involving a caravan. All lanes have been re-opened.We will update you on traffic incidents throughout the day.

An overturned lorry and its shed load are causing delays of 30 minutes on the M5 southbound between junctions 22 and 23 this afternoon.One lane is closed and there is a speed restriction in the area.Traffic is slow as far as Sedgemoor Services.Further north, there is congestion between junction 22 and A370 at Brent Knoll in East Brent.
