Those hoping for an early weekend get away will be disappointed as traffic is already busy on the M4 Westbound around Bristol and Newport. One suspected reason for the congestion is a One Direction gig in Cardiff tonight. So far there are tailbacks on the M4 at Newport between Junctions 23a and Junctions 25a and also at the toll booths after the Severn Bridge as well as around Bristol between Junctions 19 and 18.
