Storm Angus: Pictures show River Sheppey is just centimeters from…
Pictures taken earlier today show a river in Somerset is just inches from bursting its banks.The Environment Agency is warning people to expect flooding around the River Sheppy tonight.
A red alert, meaning flooding is expected, was issued by the Environment Agency at 3pm after 22mm of rain fell in three hours.
The pictures were taken by Jon Ryan in Godney, a village on the Somerset Levels near Glastonbury.
