Still no start date for new A30 exit in Sherborne as negotiations…
Plans to create a new exit on the A30 in
Sherborne have further stalled as negotiations between a housing developer and the county council continue.

Persimmon Homes South West was granted permission in 2015 to build up to 279 homes at Barton Farm, creating what is officially known as the Corelli estate.

As part of the planning approval, the developer agreed to construct a new exit from the development onto the A30 west of
the existing crossroads with the A352 Horsecastles Lane.
