Roads in Wraxall and Failand could be designated as quiet lanes
Roads in two North Somerset villages could officially be designated as ‘quiet lanes’ in a bid to improve safety.Wraxall and Failand Parish Council is hoping to get Horse Race Lane, Failand and Sandy Lane and Failand Lane given the special status.The move follows concern about the speed of traffic, a number of accidents over the past several years and follows an increase in the number of cyclists, pedestrians and horseriders using the lanes around the villages.Meetings have already taken place…
