Reprieve for Sherborne Road motorists as Dorset rat run bridge…
Motorists who are sick of being stuck in the
A30 roadworks on Sherborne Road have been handed a small reprieve.
Dorset County Council has been carrying out repairs today (March 8) to Smith’s Bridge near Bradford Abbas, which has been used as a rat ran by drivers wishing to avoid the long tailbacks between Yeovil and Sherborne.
The road was closed between 9am and 3.30pm, rendering this diversion impassible – and the closure was set to be in force again tomorrow (March 9).
