Motorists face summer of traffic misery
COMMUTERS are facing a summer of traffic misery on one of the busiest commuter routes in and out of Bristol – as two multi million pound repair schemes get underway.
Work on repairing an old water main on the A370 in Backwell is due to start shortly which will take until the end of the year to complete.
The work, being carried out by Bristol Water, will see sections of the busy commuter route closed and temporary lights installed to control traffic.
