Motorists can now fill their cars up using biofuel – made from a by-product of beer.DB Export’s Brewtroleum is the world’s first beer derived biofuel to be made commercially available.The brewery has produced an initial 30,000 litres of ethanol – produced during the brewing process – which has been mixed with premium petrol to make 300,000 litres of biofuel.It emits eight per cent less carbon than traditional unleaded but still produces the same performance.
