A “born and bred Somerset” man has been named as one of the victims who died aboard the doomed Malaysia Airlines flight MH17. British banker Andrew Hoare died aboard the doomed along with his Dutch wife Estella and their two children, Jasper, 15, and Friso, 12.

Mr Hoare, 59, was originally from Beckington near Frome in Somerset, and moved to Luxembourg in the 1980s. He and Estella were married in Mendip, Somerset, in 1998.
