Huge plane to bring congestion to M4 this weekend
Police are warning of traffic congestion as the massive fuselage of an Airbus A321 plane trundles across the West this weekend.
The plane is being taken from south Wales to the ‘plane graveyard’ at Cotswold Airport on the Wiltshire-Gloucestershire border, and will take up two lanes of the M4 over two days tomorrow and on Sunday.
Measuring 20ft wide, 16ft high and 151ft long, it weighs 58 tonnes and will be ‘slow moving’ as it travels east along the M4 into the West on Saturday. On Sunday it will…
