Glastonbury festival founder Michael Eavis claims new homes will…
The founder of the Glastonbury festival has said he hopes 13 new homes being built in his village will last for 1,000 years.

Work recently started on the homes at Oathills Field in Pilton and Michael Eavis is tremendously proud of the project, which is intended to provide homes for young villagers.

He said: “This is one of the best things I have done and the homes will be part of my legacy which will still be standing in a 1,000 years’ time.”
