Did you see car plunge into River Brue on Sunday?
Police are appealing for the public’s help after a car left the road and plunged into a roadside water course on the Somerset Levels.
The incident happened on Sunday (July 20) at about 3.15pm when a car was travelling along Back River Drove between the A39 and B3151 in the direction of Meare.
Near to the junction of Back River Drove and Sharpham Lane the car – a Skoda Octavia – left the road and mounted a roadside back and plunged into the River Brue.
