After yesterday’s reopening of the Dawlish railway line, Prime Minister David Cameron writes for the Western Daily Press, announcing that the South West is back in business. And not a moment too soon.

It became one of the defining images of this winter’s storms: the railway track at Dawlish broken, twisted and suspended in mid-air, after the sea had ripped away the wall from beneath it.
