Chicken farm eases traffic concerns
Proposals to build a new road to serve a controversial chicken farm have been welcomed. Villagers are still angry that the chicken farm – which will farm more than a millions birds a year – at Pamington will be built after Tewkesbury Borough Council gave it the go-ahead in February, despite concerns over traffic and smell issues. But now they have welcomed developer Kinsey Hern’s plan to divert lorries away from the village by building a new half-mile road to the B4079.
