Bristol traffic problems expected as high tides cause flooding
High tides and a tidal surge in Bristol could cause traffic problems this morning, with rush-hour drivers being warned to take care.

The spring tides on the River Avon reach their height at 8.33am and 9.54pm, after similar levels caused flooding in Hotwells and Cumberland Basin yesterday.

The council is warning drivers to plan ahead for their journeys as flood water is expected to affect the Portway, Avon Crescent, Cattle Market Road and Crew’s Hole Road.
