A woman has sustained a chest injury after her car hit a tree in southern Yeovil.
Police and ambulance personnel were alerted at around 3.15pm today (October 5) after a car crashed into a tree on the A37 Dorchester Road.
The crash occurred near the junction with Two Tower Lane, which runs passed the Yeovil Showground towards Yeovil Junction railway station.

Somerset residents who use the A303 will have to negotiate several different sets of roadworks from tomorrow (September 19).
