A37 traffic chaos from Farrington Gurney as barn fire burns into…
TRAFFIC delays of 50 minutes have been reported stemming from Farrington Gurney.

The cause is the need for Avon Fire & Rescue to pump water from a roadside hydrant on the A37 Bristol Road to a barn fire which has been burning since 4pm yesterday.

Fire engines from Paulton, Radstock Yatton, Bath and Brislington have been backed by Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service crews.

The barn in question is 20m by 10m big and has 100 tonnes of hay. At the peak of the incident seven fire…
