A303 closure: Motorists told to take 65 mile diversion to bypass…
Imagine driving home after a long day’s work to find that the road ahead of you had been closed and you have been told to take a 65 mile diversion.It might sound ludicrous, but that is the very prospect facing those travelling along the A303 between Ilchester and Podimore next week when the road is shut overnight for repairs.The three-mile stretch of road near Yeovil is due to close between 8pm and 6am from Monday to Thursday.And for those wishing to avoid the work, Highways England is…
