Why 'demonise' the Friends?
I WAS disappointed to see that Councillor Hugh Sharp (October 17) has now apparently sought to demonise the Friends of Tor Leisure as something other than just that (friends).Surely Mr Sharp and Councillor Barron, and the Glastonbury Town Council, have the same objectives as the Friends. We all want to see the whole of Tor Leisure fields retained for sports and recreational use for the community for generations to come.He suggests that the application to have the fields given Village Green (VG)…
