Traffic jams: A4032 Newfoundland Way Bristol city centre
An overturned vehicle is causing a traffic jam in Bristol city centre this afternoon.
The A4032 in Bristol – A4032 Newfoundland Way in the city centre is closed and there is slow traffic in both directions between the Newfoundland Road junction and the A4044 New Bond Street junction, because of an accident and an overturned vehicle.
Seven injured in Somerset coach crash
Six passengers were injured and a HGV driver flown to hospital after a coach and a lorry were involved in crash in Somerset this morning.
An articulated lorry and a coach carrying 27 passengers were involved in the accident on the A361 at Rodden in Frome.
The driver of the lorry was trapped in the cab after the accident at 10:33 am.
Firefighters from Frome and Trowbridge rushed to the scene and cut the lorry driver free.

Resort cycling plans divides opinion
Proposals to give cyclists more rights on a busy pedestrian area of Bournemouth have sparked debate. A trial lifting restrictions on cyclists riding on Bournemouth Square and across Pier Approach is planned. Bournemouth Borough Council’s transport project manager Richard Pinnegar said it wanted to become a bike-friendly town and similar schemes had been trialled elsewhere. It has the fourth highest bike accident rate in England.

Abnormal load to cause delays
Motorists planning to travel to west Somerset this weekend are being advised to expect significant delays.A 16ft high, 16ft wide, 103ft long, 145-ton boiler is being moved to a paper mill in Watchet on Sunday.
