Holidaymakers travelling from Heathrow Airport have been left without their luggage after a technical fault.
The fault was with conveyor belts at Terminal 5 – a computer error forced baggage handlers to load cases manually.
It could now take several days for thousands of passengers to be reunited with their baggage. On Monday, Heathrow told the BBC that the backlog of bags at T5 were at “several thousand”.
