I’M STAGGERED to read that speed humps are considered too dangerous for Brooks Road as ‘they could cause drivers to lose control of their vehicles’.

There are speed humps along the whole length of the High Street, the whole length of Cranhill Road, the whole length of Southleaze and Farm Road. Surely if speed humps are likely to cause drivers to lose control then these speed humps should be removed.

Of course these speed humps will not be removed as I do not recall ever hearing of an accident…
