Saltford has appetite for return of railway
People in Saltford, between Bristol and Bath, have voiced overwhelming support for the re-opening of the village’s railway station. In a survey carried out by Bath and North East Somerset Council, two-thirds of respondents said they were in favour of the move, while a total of nearly 75 per cent said they would either walk or cycle to the station.
