New fence is over-reaction and should be removed soon
RECENTLY a fence appeared alongside Leg of Mutton Road, Glastonbury, bearing the notice, “Glastonbury Town Council, no unauthorised access.”It bars access to a small woodland which is an important public amenity. I used to go there frequently to walk my dog and some boys have constructed a bike run with jumps among the trees. This was one place where they were able to go to get a little touch of adventure in a natural setting, away from bricks and mortar and the computer screen.On…
