Main road between Sherborne and Dorchester now shut for four…
SHERBORNE residents travelling to Dorchester face four weeks of disruption and lengthy diversions while the A352 is closed.

Dorset County Council closed a section of the A352 at Middlemarsh yesterday (June 27) for resurfacing work, which is set to last until July 22.

Until then commuters and day-trippers face a hefty diversion – some 40 miles – to reach the other side of Middlemarsh.

The work was originally intended to begin on June 6, but was postponed in light of the emergency roadworks…
