A man had a miracle escape after his car flew 60ft through the air before hitting the ground with enough force – to tear out its engine. The driver skidded off a bend on the B3357 near Tavistock, Devon, and landed nose-first on a bank. The impact was powerful enough to dislodge the Skoda Yeti’s engine and catapult it a further 20ft
