The following provisions have been provided at the festival for Taxi and Private Hire drop off and pick up, from 23rd June to 29th June. Due to traffic volumes there will be a number of road closures, one way roads and diversions in place. Please check the festival web site for details.

Any of our Taxi’s coming coming from the west of the Glastonbury Festival site will be dropping off and picking up from the Lower Westholme lay-by (opposite Steanbow Farm). The lay-by will be closed on the western side to allow our taxis to drop and pick up in an area away from traffic.

The taxi pickup point will be signed from the site and all stewards will be briefed that those wanting a taxi to Glastonbury and Street, etc, should go to the lay-by and all others go to the Bath and West Showground drop-and-collect point.

Taxis from north, east and south of the site use the drop-and-collect point at the Bath and West Purple Car Park between Prestleigh village and the showground entrance. This official drop-and-collect point is accessible for the public on the Monday after the festival, when the A361 will be closed to through traffic.

We have been asked not to not drop or wait outside the houses on the eastern end of the lay-by as this will result in the residents requesting the police to move vehicles on. The open end of the lay-by is subject to a clearway and will be enforced by the police. The Lower Westholme lay-by is for taxis only and not public use. Abuse of the lay-by will result in its with-drawal as a drop-and-collect point. Please keep the area for taxis only.
