Men behind Glastonbury Festival scam in court
TWO men who set up a scam to smuggle people into last year’s Glastonbury festival in return for a “tip” have been ordered to carry out 80 hours unpaid work in the community.
Gill Thomas Winterbottom and Simon Porter were spotted by security staff driving a minibus full of passengers into the Pilton site, all wearing high visibility tabards.
And when their vehicle was searched staff found a fake security pass fixed to the windscreen and both defendants were arrested.
