More than 200 people attended a drop-in event outlining plans for the re-opening of Saltford’s railway station.The session yesterday evening was organised as experts continue to investigate the detailed logistics of bringing the station, which closed in 1970, back into use as part of the new MetroWest system.Campaigners backing the station, which has the support of Bath & North East Somerset Council and Saltford parish Council, say it will make a huge difference to the village.They claim it…
