I HAVE been trying to get to grips with our current MP’s energy policy, but must report that it is hard to fathom.Against the new nuclear power station at Hinkley Point, but in favour of the jobs that building and running it creates; supports wind farms generally just not near villages lived in by her voters; non-committal on tidal energy from the Severn Estuary; and in favour of fracking nationally but, again, not on her patch.Or at least on the latter, that is what local people understood her…
